Included in these rates: Room & board, all camp programming, bus transportation to/from camp from Vancouver or transportation to/from camp from the Kelowna airport, laundry, tuck, access to our summer photo gallery + unlimited photo downloads, our 2021 camp t-shirt (+ a sweatshirt for our SIT campers)
Not included in these rates: Annual Family Membership to the Camp Hatikvah Foundation ($150). This amount is eligible for a Canadian charitable donation receipt and is charged by family rather than by camper.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE & PROCEDURES
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, JULY 20th, 2020 ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:
Monday, July 20th at 9:00 am: “Save my place” Returning Campers
Campers who were supposed to attend camp this summer wishing to stay in the SAME SESSION they were enrolled in for 2020 are invited to submit an application for the 2021 season. This includes SITs of 2020.
Tuesday, July 21st at at 9:00 am: “Change my place” Returning Campers
Campers who were supposed to attend camp this summer wishing to change into a DIFFERENT SESSION than they were enrolled for in 2020 are invited to submit an application for the 2021 season.
Wednesday, July 22nd at 9:00 am: Open Registration
All other applicants are invited to submit an application for the 2021 season and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note the following:
- Campers starting Grade 1 in September are eligible to apply to Giborim only. We will not be accepting Grade 1 participants to Second Session.
- Campers starting Grade 2 in September are eligible to apply to Giborim or Second Session only. We will not be accepting Grade 2 students in First Session.
- Campers starting Grade 3 in September who have NOT been to Camp Hatikvah before are strongly encouraged to register for Second Session.
- Any campers starting Grade 3 in September who wish to attend first session will have to schedule an interview to ensure the camper’s readiness for four weeks of camp.
- SIT applications are subject to an additional application process. Applicants born in 2006 should submit a basic camp application through CampMinder on July 20th and then expect for their child have to fill out a separate SIT application later on.
Family Camp registration date TBD.
PAYMENT POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of application to secure your child’s spot. The deposit rates are as follows:
- First Session: $500
- Second Session: $250
- Giborim: $200
- SITs: $1000
- SITs 2020: $500
- Family Camp: $250 (Full payment due at time of registration)
Option 1: Pay in Full at the time of application
Option 2: Payment Plan
Your non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of registration. Your remaining balance will be broken into equal monthly installments and processed by credit card on the following dates: January 4th, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st, May 3rd & June 1st.
Option 3: For those applying for financial assistance
No deposit will be required at the time of application. If you choose the “campership” payment option, you will be sent a campership application form toward the end of summer. Families are required to submit a financial assistance form. You will be assessed and advised as to the status of your application by October 1st. Your fees will then be broken up into equal monthly installments payable on the following dates: November 2nd, December 1st, January 4th, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st, May 3rd and June 1st.
All deposits are non-refundable. Other fees paid between the deposit and March 31st are refundable IF written notice of withdrawal from our program is received at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before March 31st, 2021. After this date all fees paid are considered non-refundable.
